Multicultural Children’s Book Day 2022 By The Numbers
It is hard to believe time has flown by and our January 28, 2022, is less than two weeks away!
As you may know, Multicultural Children’s Book Day (MCBD) is a non-profit that collaborates with authors to get their books reviewed during our online event and also works to get free diverse children’s books into the hands of young readers.

Over 800 Book Reviewers!
Thanks to our brand spanking new custom book matching software, we connected over 800 book reviewers with books to review for the event. Our book matching process is now closed, but if you would like a free diverse book to review for our 1/28/22 celebration, pop over to the MCBD Facebook Group and look for the “Matchmaking” thread here.
Over 100 Books!
Another big part of our online celebration is our crazy-fun Twitter Party on 1/28/22 at 9:00 pm ET. This party is a wonderful opportunity to connect, share, win prizes and discuss important topics related to our world and diversity in children’s literature. GO HERE to see all of the amazing book bundles that we will be giving away every 5 minutes during the Twitter Party (over one hundred books!). It will be a fun-n-fast hour of diversity, literacy, collaboration, connection, and conversation. Connect with us on Twitter and be sure to look for/use our official hashtag #ReadYourWorld.
