The Pedro and Daniel Intersectionality Book Awards (PADIBA) honor traditionally published books of exceptional quality that feature intersectional protagonists.
Authors, illustrators, or publishers can submit for these awards, but authors will need to write an intersectionality statement as part of the submission.
We ask that publishers send final copies of the books [not ARCs] to the judging committee as soon as they are available, but before October 31, 2026.
The submissions window is open July 1 through August 31, 2026.
All of the PADIBA winners, finalists, longlists, and commended books can be bought at a discounted price: Bookshop.org/shop/PADIBA
