Cheryl “Ras” Thuesday (she/her) is an illustrator originally from London and who grew up in New Jersey. Her art style and love of vibrant colors are heavily influenced by her Caribbean and Asian heritage. Her book publications include Kind Like Marsha: Learning from LGBTQ+ Leaders and Willis Watson Is a Wannabe. Ras lives in the tristate area. You can see more of her work at rasillustration.com.

Kimm Topping (they/them) is a writer, educator, historian, and artist. As the founder of Lavender Education, they lead a national program that celebrates LGBTQIA+ history through arts and education. Frances Evans

Frances Díaz Evans is a Latina Author, Educator, Multicultural and Language Advocate. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad del Este in Puerto Rico and a master’s degree in Spanish education from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. She joined Multicultural Children’s Book Day in the early days advocating for multicultural books as a book reviewer, then as a co-host, and now she’s excited to take on the role of project manager.
