Child’s Play USA

Childs Play USA

Child’s Play is an independent publisher, specializing in whole child development, focused play, life skills and values. Child’s Play products bring out the best in children (and adults) of all levels of ability, enabling them to work and play together. Our program consists of books, games, toys and associated materials.

Since the company was founded in the UK in 1972, our program of books, games, Storysacks® and audio-visual material has enjoyed widespread international recognition, with a Head Office in the UK, offices in Australia, and distributors in many other countries.

Child’s Play is more than just a publishing programme, it is a philosophy. We understand that a child’s early years are more important than any other and this is when they learn the most about the world around them. Books play a vital role in building the foundations for learning, and exposure to quality books from an early age helps to develop an enquiring mind and a lifelong love of reading.

Child’s Play has a history of creating innovative, award-winning books for children from 0-8 years that promote learning through play – books that fully reflect our diverse society in terms of heritage, disability, gender and family.

Child’s Play books are loved by parents, teachers and, most importantly, children all over the world.

Child’s Play USA also has a great “Printables Zone” for Parents and Teachers filled with lots of fun book and craft activities to enjoy during the holidays!

Child’s Play is proud to work with Book Trust, the independent reading and writing charity!

A number of their titles have been included in Book Trust’s Bookstart packs over the years. A much-loved early reading program, Bookstart gifts free books to babies, toddlers and 3-year-olds. The program exists to give every child a flying start in life, and that’s why Child’s Play supports the campaign to help secure it for future generations.
