January 25, 2022 7:56 pmThe Purple Shell is a heart-warming, “read-to-me,” or “read along” story. As a Honduran, I welcomed the English/Spanish wording. In addition, Ms. Mejia keeps the level of her audience in sight.
The care for Mother Earth makes this story a great classroom choice. I can see creative art, science, and writing projects all around the classroom. Yeah! Wonderful job!
