Our 2nd Annual Auction is fast approaching, and we’re seeking your support to raise funds to continue the work we do including:
Do you have any items or services you’d be willing to contribute? Your donations are invaluable to our online auction. We will be accepting items and services until the end of March. 
The auction is scheduled to run from April 1st, 2024 to April 15th, 2024.
Unsure of what to donate?
Here are some suggestions:
  • Artwork: Personalized illustrations, paintings, sculptures, or photography prints.
  • Services: Offerings like author visits, personal training sessions, consultation services, manuscript critique, editing, or language services.
  • Books: Autographed books or a gift bundle comprising the book, a plush toy, or any other promotional item about the book.
  • Handcrafted Items: Handmade crafts like jewelry, pottery, or knitted goods.
  • Experiences: Tickets to events, workshops, or unique experiences like a hot air balloon ride or a cooking class.
  • Travel Packages: Hotel stays, airline miles, or vacation packages.

Frances Evans

Frances Díaz Evans is a Latina Author, Educator, Multicultural and Language Advocate. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad del Este in Puerto Rico and a master’s degree in Spanish education from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. She joined Multicultural Children’s Book Day in the early days advocating for multicultural books as a book reviewer, then as a co-host, and now she’s excited to take on the role of project manager.
