January 27, 2015 11:40 amHi Skye,
We love the Marisol series too! We hope there are many more to come! Strong girls of color are sorely needed in picture books and it’s wonderful that your son likes to read about them too! That’s sending a great message to publishers that boys will read about a strong girl of color!
