February 4, 2019 5:00 pmMy first-grade class skyped with author Derek Taylor Kent. He sent us the bilingual book, El Perro con Sombrero about a little doggy who wanted a home. We learned that Pepe, the dog in the story, was about his real dog Zander. After, the kids said they wanted to publish a book for our library! WOW! Thanks for the inspiration.
