January 18, 2017 3:39 pmKids still need to hold books in their small hands and turn the pages. It’s an experience that gives pleasure and remains with them long after. Even as an adult, I prefer paper, although I’ve read some ebooks.
I was wondering if these great bundles will be available somewhere after the twitter party.
Great idea. Felicitaciones.

January 27, 2017 4:59 pmI’m excited for the ‘party’.
Zoraida, just going on from your comment… I have the exact same belief (and was just about to say as much). Not only is the physical book advantageous, there’s so much learning opportunity in holding a book to read. The turning of the pages teaches directionality…that we read from right to left, but our words go left to right and down the page. What I love most about the physical book too, is the ability for a child to bring it to a capable reader (whether parent, adult, older sibling) and open discourse. These are the opportunities for questions to be ask, from both reader and listener. Questions are the learning opportunities. When a child asks a question, it’s because they want to ‘know’. When the reader asks a question, it not only gauges that the child understands the text, but reinforces the lessons within the words & images of the book.
There’s nothing more special in this World, that sharing the moment of book and child. I just love it.
