I signed up, what happens next?
Be on the lookout for a thank you email with some useful information.
When will I know if I’m matched with a reviewer?
You’ll receive another email that you’ve been matched with a reviewer. This email is super important because it has the reviewer’s information as well as your password for the book-matching system.
How long does it take to be matched?
That depends. If there’s a reviewer that matches your book, for example, format, language, and/or genre then you’ll be matched!
Where can I find my username and password for the book-matching system?
Your username will be the email address you registered with. The password is in your book matching email with the subject line: DONOR: Here’s Your Reviewer Book Match for Multicultural Children’s Book Day
I’d like to reset the password to one that I can remember. Where can I reset my password?
Log in to the dashboard. On the top right corner of the screen, click on the circle then click on “Reset Password.”
I signed up to have my book reviewed, but now I want to add more books. Can I change the number of books to be reviewed?
Yes, you can! Simply go into your dashboard and change the number of books. You can only increase but not decrease.
I’m a donor but I also want to review book(s). Can I sign up as a reviewer?
Yes, you can! Simply go to https://multiculturalchildrensbookday.reviews/ and click where it says: Reviewer Sign-Up
Can I use the same email address if I sign up as a reviewer and donor?
Reviewers and donors can have the same email IDs when they are signing up as Donors and vice-versa. This won’t affect your login information. However, passwords for your login as reviewer and login as donor would be different and can be found in the “you have a match” email.
Read Your World Team suggests that you use a different email to sign up as a donor and another one to sign up as a reviewer to avoid any confusion.
I have another book I’d like to get reviews on. How can I add the book to my dashboard? Can I sign up again with the same email address and it?
Unfortunately, as a donor, you can’t sign up again using the same email address. You will need to use a different email ID to sign up and add your other book.
Yay! I’ve been matched with a reviewer! Where do I see the review?
You may not see the review quite yet. Reviewers are encouraged to complete their review on or before January 29. They may also post the review on the big giant linky found on the main page of our website (it is a place where reviewers can add the link to their review). It will go live on January 29. However, you go into your dashboard click on the reviewer’s name, and see if they have uploaded any links.
If you don’t see anything by January 29, we ask that you communicate with your reviewer.
