If you know of someone who would like to support MCCBD, and gift a fellow author or illustrator a few online “shout-outs,” then you need to share our newest option Friends of MCCBD. This feature is a great way to show your support and help us raise funds to get more books into the hands of young readers while also showing some love for the books or authors that you love. Get the full scoop on Friends of MCCBD here.
Our Classroom Reading Challenge launches November 1st! Thanks to support and sponsorship from the Junior Library Guild, MCCBD will be able to gift high-quality, hardcover multicultural books that are pre-screened and approved to deserving classrooms. Read more about the Classroom Challenge here and please pass the word to any teacher friends who want to earn a free multicultural book for their classroom!
